More Pictures From the Hospital

I am finding it hard to choose which pictures to share!  We have taken tons and I love them all.  These are just a few from Tuesday and Wednesday when we were still in the hospital.

Daddy is pretty smitten with Jolie.  It melts my heart.

This girl doesn't even need a headband to keep bows in her hair!  Mommy is loving the hair accessory options :)

Family Picture!  It's funny how you go from being a "couple" to a little "family" with the addition of a baby.

Jolie wore the dress that I wore home from the hospital when I was a baby.  She looked so sweet in it!  Cole had a little photo shoot with her in the dress before we left the hospital.

We were so excited to go home on Wednesday!

We are still doing great at home.  I am so grateful that Cole has been able to take time off from work.  It has been fun to have him home as we settle into a new routine.

She's Here!!!

Little Jolie Mae Ford is here! She arrived Monday afternoon at 2:42 weighing 7lb. 8 oz. and measuring 20 3/4 in. long. She is absolutely perfect in every way and has an unbelievable head of hair! Sometimes it still doesn't seem real.  She is the best baby.  She eats well, sleeps well, and loves to snuggle with mommy and daddy.  I think that we have spent the majority of the last four days just staring at her.

These are some (of the many) pictures from her very first day.

Our sweet friends Larry and Rhesa brought Jolie her very first birthday cake!

Many more family and friends came to visit Jolie that very first day.  I wish I had pictures of every single person with her.  From what I understand Jolie had quite the fan club in the waiting room...what a lucky little girl!

We are so grateful that it was a smooth delivery and, most importantly, that Jolie is very healthy. Cole and I have been so blessed by our family and friends who have celebrated her arrival with us, brought us food, and prayed for our little girl.  We are just in awe of our little miracle and love being home with her!  More pictures to come :)

Date Night

Last night Cole and I went out on our last date before Jolie arrives.  Crazy!  We went to eat at Pappadeaux and then to see Mission Impossible.  It was fun to spend one last night out that didn't require babysitting plans to be made.  Although, I have no doubt that we will be able to get out for the occasional date night while Jolie spends time with Mimi and Pops or Nina and Papa.  I don't think they'll mind too much!

Not the most flattering pictures...It still amazes me how much a belly can grow in 9 months!

The past few months have been so wonderful.  With Cole no longer coaching basketball games four days a week, we have had much more time together this winter than in the last few years.  We have really enjoyed our last months just the two of us.  It's hard to believe that we are days away from being a family of three!  We are so excited to meet Jolie!!

Football Shower

A couple weeks ago some of the sweet coaches' wives threw a shower for Jolie and Jaxon, a baby due to one of the other coaches in April.  Everything was red and black for MacArthur and very cute!

Michelle made these cute onesies.  The one on the left is Jolie's and has little red ruffles across the back :)

The hostesses, Lindsey and Michelle

We are so blessed that Cole works with a great group of coaches and that they have wonderful families. Two other Mac families are expecting babies this spring and summer and I am excited to see all the little ones at games this fall!

Christmas 2011

Our 2011 Family Christmas Picture--We are excited that there will be one more in this picture next year!

Baby Shower

Several weeks ago we had an amazing baby shower thrown by some of our sweet friends from church.  It was wonderful!

These are the women who hosted the shower.  They did a great job!  Everything was beautiful and the food was yummy.  I am so grateful for all that they did to make it so special.

My friend, Laura, made tons of these cool pom poms for the shower.  I was so impressed that she made these!  I know it must have taken a long time!  We now have some hanging in Jolie's room  :)

Mimi and Nina

I love this picture.  It was so fun to have all of Jolie's great grandmothers and grandmothers at the shower.  Not many little girls get to know all of their great grandmothers!
(Grandmother Ford, Grandmom, Mimi, Me, Nina, Granny, Gran)

These are some of my closest friends from college.  They are the best!  They all drove down from Edmond just for the shower and then headed back that afternoon.  I couldn't believe that they came down just the be there for a few hours!  I am so thankful for such incredible friends.
(Betsy, Courtney, Me, Jana, Ashley)

Isn't this unbelievable?  Our friends and family were so generous!  We are so appreciative of all the gifts we were given.  Jolie definitely has everything she needs...and more!

Jolie was given many special gifts that were made for her.  I can't wait for her to meet all the special people who made them!  This blanket was a gift from our friend Diana.  Cole and I had blankets like this when we were little and my Granny had given one to her for each of her babies when they were born.  It will have all of Jolie's stats on it after she is born.

This is a beautiful scrapbook made by our friend Andrea.  She is so creative!  It is really cute and the best part is all I have to do is add the pictures!

When we first unloaded all of the gifts Jolie's room looked something like this:

Jolie's room was completely full with her gifts and stylish new wardrobe!  I spent the entire evening putting away all of her new goodies.  Jolie is already so blessed to have so many people who love her.  Cole and I were so humbled by everyone's generosity and reminded of what a blessing it is to have a church family that is so close.

Pictures to come soon to prove that Jolie's room does not still look like the above pictures  :)   The nursery is still not entirely finished but we are making progress!

Catching Up

I cannot believe that its been over a month since I updated!  My last picture showed my belly at 27.5 weeks...It is much larger now!

This was at 30 weeks.

This was 34 weeks...

I am now almost 35 weeks and cannot believe how close we are getting to Jolie's arrival!  The last couple of months have flown by and its crazy to think that she could be here in about a month.  This past week I have definitely felt like I need to start getting everything ready.  We have worked on the nursery and started packing our hospital bags.  We are getting very excited!
