The Sweetest Sound

Jolie thought Nina was pretty funny Friday night!  I love listening to that little laugh!

Good Morning Jolie!

Aside from evenings when Cole gets home from work, mornings are my favorite time with Jolie.  She wakes up so sweet!  Every morning she is full of smiles and loves to talk.

Jolie's First Easter

We had a great Easter Sunday.  We went to church and then spent the afternoon with family.

The Sharbine Bunch- We were so glad that both of my sisters were able to come home for the weekend.

Gran and Granpa came to church with us.

We did lunch and an Easter egg hunt with all the Roseberrys.

Then we went to Mimi and Pops house for more fun.

It was a wonderful day celebrating the hope we have in Christ and spending time with all the people we love.  

Two Months!

On Friday Jolie turned a big two months!
I loved both of these pictures.

She looks so much older than she did just a month ago.

We went to the doctor this morning, and Jolie weighs 11 pounds 11 ounces (about 75th percentile) and is 23 3/4 inches long (over 90th percentile).  She also had to get shots...she was not happy about it!  The doctor said Jolie looks great :)

Jolie is just so fun right now!  She smiles and coos more and more every day.  I love that she knows her mommy and daddy and smiles so sweetly when we talk to her.  Jolie is also getting stronger.  She holds her head up pretty well and enjoys standing in my lap (with a little help, of course).  She has even rolled over a few times, but I think that they were flukes because she hasn't done it again in a few weeks.  Jolie has also become a great nighttime sleeper!  She usually sleeps one 6-7 hour stretch at night.  I am very grateful that she is sleeping through the night!  It is really fun to watch Jolie become more alert and aware of her surroundings.  She is always looking around, taking it all in.  Jolie especially loves to stare at ceiling fans and light fixtures.  Lately she seems to notice our dog, Ranger, more, too.  Jolie's eyes often follow him as he walks around the house.  It is so amazing to watch Jolie grow and learn new things! 

Easter Bunny

Jolie went to visit the Easter Bunny!  These pictures crack me up.  She completely sunk into his arms and looks like such a chunk!

Lots of Family

We are fortunate to live near most of our family and that we get to see those that don't live as close pretty often.  Jolie has spent lots of her 8 weeks spending time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Lucky girl!

Jolie also spent time with cousin Dratyon.  Sadly, I didn't get a picture of them together.  Most of the pictures we got of Drayton were blurry.  He was always on the move :)

Jolie got to hang out with her Aunt Melanie over spring break.

Aunt Rachel also came home for spring break, and Jolie and I got to go to her wedding shower in Longview.

Jolie got to do some good snuggling with Aunt Janelle at Rachel's shower!



We are looking forward to spending more time with family this weekend!
