Baby Shower
Several weeks ago we had an amazing baby shower thrown by some of our sweet friends from church. It was wonderful!
These are the women who hosted the shower. They did a great job! Everything was beautiful and the food was yummy. I am so grateful for all that they did to make it so special.
My friend, Laura, made tons of these cool pom poms for the shower. I was so impressed that she made these! I know it must have taken a long time! We now have some hanging in Jolie's room :)
Mimi and Nina
I love this picture. It was so fun to have all of Jolie's great grandmothers and grandmothers at the shower. Not many little girls get to know all of their great grandmothers!

These are some of my closest friends from college. They are the best! They all drove down from Edmond just for the shower and then headed back that afternoon. I couldn't believe that they came down just the be there for a few hours! I am so thankful for such incredible friends.
(Betsy, Courtney, Me, Jana, Ashley)
Isn't this unbelievable? Our friends and family were so generous! We are so appreciative of all the gifts we were given. Jolie definitely has everything she needs...and more!
When we first unloaded all of the gifts Jolie's room looked something like this:
Jolie's room was completely full with her gifts and stylish new wardrobe! I spent the entire evening putting away all of her new goodies. Jolie is already so blessed to have so many people who love her. Cole and I were so humbled by everyone's generosity and reminded of what a blessing it is to have a church family that is so close.
Pictures to come soon to prove that Jolie's room does not still look like the above pictures :) The nursery is still not entirely finished but we are making progress!
Catching Up
I cannot believe that its been over a month since I updated! My last picture showed my belly at 27.5 weeks...It is much larger now!
This was at 30 weeks.

I am now almost 35 weeks and cannot believe how close we are getting to Jolie's arrival! The last couple of months have flown by and its crazy to think that she could be here in about a month. This past week I have definitely felt like I need to start getting everything ready. We have worked on the nursery and started packing our hospital bags. We are getting very excited!

3D Ultrasound
Since I last posted football season has come to an end and I am enjoying Cole being home much more than he was July-October! This is the first year he has not coached basketball, which means it is the first time he has had a break right after football. We are so grateful that he is now going to be a track coach, and are thoroughly enjoying a restful Thanksgiving break with no practices!
Sucking her thumb
Big yawn!
Sticking out her tongue-She seemed to really enjoy showing us her tongue!

The only side she'd show us-her back
I have not been as good about keeping up with pictures to document my growing belly lately , but here is one from a couple weeks ago at about 27.5 weeks. I will try to get another one up next week.
Saturday we went back to A Miracle to Behold to get a 3D ultrasound and see what little Jolie is looking like these days. She has grown so much and is looking a little more filled out than the last time we saw her. She kept hiding her face with her hands, but Jennifer still managed to get a few cute shots of her.
Love those sweet little lips and nose!

We also got to see Jolie again today at the doctor. She is measuring about three pounds and the doctor predicted that she would be about 7-7.5 pounds. Sounds like a good size to me :) Everything looked great and I am going to start going in every two weeks now. That means my next appointment is on my birthday! These are the pictures from today. Once again, Jolie was hiding her face so we didn't get any pictures of it.

Our shower was yesterday, and it was absolutely wonderful! I'll be sure to post about it soon.

Growing Girl
The last few weeks I have been getting rounder at a shocking rate. A sweet little sixth grade boy reminded me of that when I was subbing a couple days ago!
This is a couple of weeks ago at 23 weeks.
25 weeks
I went to the doctor on Tuesday and he said that everything seems good and that I'm measuring right on track. Jolie even showed off a little while they were listening to her heartbeat and attempted to kick the doppler off my belly. It was a nice, strong kick that the doctor and nurse could even see. She is becoming quite the wiggle worm and I feel her off and on all day long. I love it! We are so thankful that she seems to be very healthy and are looking forward to getting to see her again in four weeks!
Nimitz Game
Last Friday night, Macarthur beat Nimitz 53-13. Cole had two little cheerleaders (Lilly and Marlee) there! After the game when we were waiting to talk to Cole, I pointed to him and said to Lilly, "Do you see Uncle Cole?" She responded with, "Oh, it's your friend. I love your friend!" So sweet. I love that she always calls him my friend!
Marlee and Lilly got to sit in the fire truck after the game.

Friday night is another big game. Macarthur plays Grapevine and we need a win to go to playoffs. Let's go Cardinals!

Football and More Football
It's hard to believe that the regular football season is half over! I don't want to say that it is exactly half over, because I am counting on us going to playoffs :) As I admitted earlier, I have not been good about bringing my camera to games, but here are some pictures from after the Irving game...which we won 42-28!

Will is playing 8th grade football this year, and I went to watch my (big) little brother play on Tuesday night. Will's school beat Timberview Middle School 35-0!
Will is #73. I think this picture is so funny. He looks enormous compared to his tiny teammate.
I didn't touch him, because he was gross...

Since tomorrow is Friday, that means more football. Wish the Cardinals luck tomorrow night against Bell!

21 Weeks and Anatomy Scan
Yesterday I went to the doctor and had my anatomy scan. It was amazing to see all of Jolie's little parts. We saw her heart, stomach, bladder, kidneys, and even tiny parts like fingers, toes, lips, and the lens of her eye! The sonographer said that everything looked perfect and that she was a cute baby. I am sure that all the babies she sees look the same on the screen, but we were happy to hear someone else thought she was cute too! Jolie is measuring about a pound, and I can tell that she is getting stronger. I feel her moving more and more everyday.
Jolie can already wave!
The sonographer agreed that she is most definitely a girl. This picture is showing her tiny hiney and legs.
Profile shots are my favorite :)
In other baby news, I have been hunting for the perfect fabric to make Jolie's bedding. It's been more challenging than I expected to find what I want. I have been to four fabric/craft stores, but I have found a couple prints that might work out. I'm hoping to get sewing (with my mom, of course) very soon!

Happy 27th Birthday Cole!
Today is Cole's 27th Birthday! We had a great time celebrating over the weekend and with a yummy dinner tonight.
Here's a glimpse at some past birthdays (ones from which I could easily find pictures)...
26--While celebrating at his parents' house
25-Showing off his new hat and book
24-First birthday as a married man...in our tiny old apartment
23-Celebrating Cole's birthday while I visited him in Edmond
22-Birthday at the Park
21-I can only find a picture of his cake from this year. There is surely a picture of him somewhere...
Rewind a few years...16-Cole's Surprise Party
Lots of fun memories and many more to come! Crazy to think that on Cole's next birthday he will be the daddy to a 7.5 month old baby girl!! I am sure that she will already have him wrapped around her finger by that point. Here's proof that he is a softy from his birthday celebration on Saturday night :)
Happy Birthday, Cole! I love you!
